John M. Welcom, President Degree: University of Miami, FL - BBA Economics 1993 John has an extensive background in the Viatical Settlement Industry dating back to 1990. He began his career at a Law Firm in Miami, FL while attending college. As the Office Manager, he was responsible for overseeing the escrow accounts, which serviced the very first companies to transact business in the industry. After gaining a unique knowledge early on in this field, Mr. Welcom decided to use his skills to work on behalf of the terminally ill policy owners. Upon graduation, he began working as an independent viatical broker. In 1998 he decided that the time was right to establish his own company and Welcome Funds was formed. After
obtaining his BBA from the Univ. of Miami, Mr. Ohman
began his career as a stockbroker in 1995. He then decided to return to U.M. for his Masters Degree in Finance and Strategic
Management. In 1997, Daniel accepted a job with the Walt Disney World Company
in Orlando, Florida. During his three years with the company he served in upper
level finance and operations management positions. He joined Welcome Funds in the first quarter of 2000 in his
current role. Daniel also oversees the company's Agent /
