California has posted its applications and instructions to its site and is now accepting submissions/filings. The Department has done a good job in separating the different ways of obtaining the required life settlement authority, distinguishing between the individual and entity licensing tracks. In addition, California rules contain provisions that require individually licensed advisors/brokers to be endorsed/affiliated with an entity.
